What's the name of this dish? Looks a bit like まんじゅう (饅頭) sold in Japan.

Didn't know the Taiwanese also show this 'V' sign when being photographed. Just like the Japanese...

Nice pics by the way...

Asahi, The dish is 包子, 饅頭 doesn't have stuffing. And "V" sign is just everywhere in the Far East.

饅頭 sold in Japan have stuffings (at least some of them do).
I thought only Japanese do "V", never seen Koreans doing it, but maybe I'm just not a good observer

AWESOME PHOTOS!

I've always excluded Taipei on my list of Asian cities to go to... It's always been Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Shanghai... But not I'm adding Taipei and Beijing to the list!

The "V" sign is the Peace Sign...

It is universal. Many people in America still use that sign when taking photos or whenever...

I know what it means, but I've always considered it typical for the Japanese to show at every photo.
Europeans rarely use it.
