Raimon reveals innovative new approach to ‘home office’ living
Matthew Booth | Jul 19, 2012 | Comments 0

Luxury developer, Raimon Land, has announced the launch of two new products at its groundbreaking project, The River, located at the heart of Bangkok along the Chao Phraya river. As well as the River Serviced Apartments, the company unveiled its innovative River Home Office concept, a product which is hoped to revolutionise how buyers consider properties.

The concept of a unit which is part living space, part office is becoming increasingly popular in many cities around the world, since it allows professionals from a wide range of fields the perfect solution to modern life, reducing stress and allowing for a more productive day by fusing their office space with the area where they live.

Raimon Land CEO, Hubert Viriot, elaborated in a press conference earlier today: “Why waste all those hours commuting to an office when you can work and accommodate clients from the comfort of your own living space?”

The launch of the product coincides with the changes of business practices throughout Asia as well as in Thailand. A recent report by Jones Lang LaSalle noted that due to rapid advances in technology, as well as economic uncertainty and the demand for increased business productivity, many organisations are being forced to consider more flexible and mobile workstyles for their employees, with telecommuting continuously becoming a more highly regarded mode of working.

The River Home Office however, takes the idea one step further through the incorporation of the other amenities on site at The River. Residents will have exclusive access to three separate outdoor swimming pools which are surrounded by an extravagant communal lounging area and onsite retail stores that accommodate the needs of The River’s occupants. Residents will also have the benefit of being in close proximity to the growing community of Thonburi, as well as being served by VUE, The River’s eco-friendly boutique fusion mall which features more than thirty retail shops, including a full supermarket and options for food and drink through a wide range of restaurants, cafes, and an adorable little cupcake shop.

Consequently, the River Home Office provides accommodation, office space, and leisure activities all in one development. The company’s vice president of client management, Piaras Moriarty, explained: “The River will essentially be a city within itself, catering to all of the residents’ needs.”

“By offering luxury home offices at The River, we are adapting to a new trend in a different social segment that strives for lifestyle harmony. It is certainly a niche market, and I am confident that our initiative will be well received by individuals and families who seek a balance between their professional practice and private life.” Added Viriot.

The company’s innovative approach to their work is not limited to the development of its properties it seems, but to all aspects of their projects. For example, Raimon is launching a marketing event for The River this weekend in the form of a treasure hunt. Guests are invited to explore the property whilst searching for prizes such as furniture vouchers and cash discounts on future purchases made with the company.
