We are rating skylines here, not cities. Anyway I agree with you.

Its skyline deserves no more then 3/10.From an airplane it only looks like an over-grown village,in the middle of no-where.One of the worst planned cities in Europe. It has a couple of impressive streets at ground level.
Madrid is only known by some people around the world for its people. Not for the city itself.

You are the one who must be lost in the middle of no where for making these kind of silly comments, get a map, travel around open your mind and change your glasses...

Most non-Spaniards tend to have this view.So stop being so biased and stop listening to the bulldust that rtve dishes out to brainwash you people.Any way it's my opinion. So respect it.I've yet to see Madrid come out on top of a skyline contest.Or beauty contest for that matter. No where near it actually.

I think someone, based on #95, is behaving like an ass more than me.

You can dislike a city, fine. No need to be so rude. Chances are I probably would not like whatever hellhole you live in.

1) Hence the

2) I don't know, hence the "probably."

And I personally don't suscribe to it, but some people (arrogantly) call my city the capital of the world. Using their and your logic, my city then craps all over yours.

Luckily for you, I don't.

As a skyline, Madrid will only enter big once the ARENA is completed. But in terms of a city, one of the most dynamic in the world. And I love it, and have fallen in love with it everytime I have been there.

Gotta say.I do love New York. And can see why many people would call it the capital of the world. As it is so huuuuuuuuuuuge and impressive. And in certain spheres i do love Madrid. And must say that it is a very dynamic city.In fact it gives me the impression of being even more dynamic then the self proclaimed city that never sleeps. The big apple.
In that sense Madrid can well and truly proclaim to being a world class city

We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.
