The Old Town in Aarhus, Denmark is an open-air village museum consisting of 75 historical buildings collected from 20 townships in all parts of the country. In 1914 the museum opened for the first time as the worlds’ first open-air museum of its kind and till this day it remains one of just a few top rated Danish museums outside Copenhagen serving some 3.5 million visitors pr. year.

Middelgrunden is located 2 km off shore east of Copenhagen. It consists of 20 Bonus 2 MW wind turbines arranged to form an arch. With a total power of 40 MW the wind farm can generate 90 TWh a year. That is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 20,000 (Danish) households or three per cent of the total electricity consumption of Copenhagen.

Nyord is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea, southeast of Zealand, just north of Møn island. The island covers an area of approximately 5 km², although only 1.2 km² is cultivatable moraine, while the remaining 4 km² is salt-meadow which is used for summer grazing, but is flooded during the winter.
