Waterloo Trilogy Tower | Lambeth | 30 fl | Pre-planning
Following on from the link on the main London page the Architects have a fly through video on their website. No idea how far this has gone & if it will eventually make it to planning. I have thought for a while its a perfect place for a tower, right next to Waterloo station is currently occupied by a grubby 2 storey building.

Incorporating a large scale wind turbine array at high level and integrated solar panel with ground source heat pumps (GSHP's) the project aims to generate the leading percentage of renewable enegry generation for hotel use. |

Please use the correct format for thread titles. I'm getting a little tired of renaming all your threads.

I'm not moaning, it's just a polite request.
The London forum used to be a complete mess, then we started using a certain style of thread title so everything's properly organised. I'd like to keep it that way. London Lad is without doubt one of the finest contributors on this forum... but it gets a little annoying when I have to rename *every* thread, and not only that, but major projects get posted in the summary thread instead of having their own separate threads, and thus have to be moved/edited which can be time consuming for me. That's all I'm sayin' ![]() "Getting tiring"? Am I always moaning then?

The arrow shows the exact location -
http://tinyurl.com/j9b4b It's on the corner of Baylis Road/Waterloo Road.

Interesting but theres no chance of it getting built - all the local NIMBYS will be up in arms - 'Lambeth is not New York' 'View from my Georgian window will be ruined' etc.

I'd imagine it's nothing more than the CAD picture. It certainly wouldn't get planning consent looking like that. But this site is proposed as a site for towers.

It's residential. I'd be surprised if it's over 100m.

Oh is it? My mistake, I assumed it was an office building.
Edit: just read the hotel bit, I need to read things first... |

I think its more of a massing model than anything else. Just to give an idea of basic height, shape etc. The final design will no doubt be a lot different. |

this tower has actually been under design for a long while now. skyscrapernews has it listed from 2006, but no pictures so this is the last update of the project i guess.
