^ that's taken at the airport. The station in that shot is Templeton Station, there's going to be an airport office park and long-term parking in that area.

No, the trains can't run on SkyTrain. It's an entirely different system, not connected. As well, different technology....SkyTrain uses linear motors while the Canada Line is standard third rail technology. The trains are also half a metre wider than SkyTrain.

That actually is a heavy rail train. It's the same model (built by Rotem of South Korea) that Athens bought for their subway expansion for the 2004 Olympics....albeit they are much better furnished than the Canada Line trains (we're on a tight budget).

If by much you mean almost all of it, then why not make it a subway line?

Kolkata airport was once planned to connect by tram, but the tramline was not extended beyond Ultodingi, currently a suburban train line is connecting the airport. Also in future, two metro lines will conect it. The train station is elevated near international terminus, where the metro station will be underground.

Well, here's my proposal for expanding rail transit in NYC, which has 2 lines connecting to LaGuardia.

$50 billion or so, and this expansion can be yours!

(the red ring line is both a local and an express, with the express stopping only at: Wall Street, Penn Station, 125th and 2nd Avenue, LaGuardia, Sutphin/Archer Ave, and Atlantic ave)
