So they scrapped the first location because it might attract too many tourists, but still attracting tourists is one of the main reasons they want to build it.

it wasn't cuz it would attract too many tourists, it was cuz they wanted to attract those tourists to another less crowded location

umm to take the worlds tallest tower record it now has to be over 900 meters tall and after Al Burj is built more than 1400 meters tall. don't think there gonna build it anymore cuz it wouldn't be the tallest.

, already before 2004 it was clear that the Burj Dubai will be taller than 560m.......so why shouldn't they build it anymore??

Guys, that ain't the rendering. The project is so far in its preliminary stages, there's no evidence it has even been formally approved.
