I'm pretty sure that my first guess it's wrong: even if the landscape is very similar (with also the industrial area on the left, like in Trieste), the SS202 has sound barriers all the way. Trieste Street View pics were taken much later than October 2008 like reported. In Europe, only (parts of) Italy and France were on GSV n 2008. License plates looks (old) French, with yellow rear and white front. The landscape looks like Mediterranean.
