(pictures from the Pensacola Blue Wahoo's facebook page)

looks like the facilities will be very nice and the views the 7,000 pensacola fans will get every game are enough to inspire envy from some pro clubs. Baseball benefits greatly from atmosphere, afterall, and they're serving up some serious scenery to go along with florida summers

Quote:
The building, which is to be between three and five stories high, is to be constructed on property off Spring Street between the stadium and the holding pond — one of about nine separate parcels available for private development. It will serve as the new headquarters for the Gulf Breeze-based Studer Group, a health care consulting firm that Studer founded.
to give you an idea, this is the park as it:

I really hope it does spawn new development.

construction of this is already underway. Never thought of it as a small hospital to begin with, this is pretty significant in terms of jobs that are within city limits. Hopefully will spawn some additional medical oriented businesses(along with studer group's future downtown presence).

PENSACOLA, Fla. (June 14, 2011) – Sacred Heart Hospital has announced plans for a major expansion that will include a new five-story tower containing 112 private patient rooms. The tower will be constructed on top of the hospital's existing Heart and Vascular Institute building.
