Thanks for the rectfication about the origins of the name MEDIOLANUM.
There are not hobbits or elves, but there are a wide variaty of races!

Another way to understand the name "Mediolanum" comes from a "myth-animal" painted in an ancient building of the city: "la scrofa semilanuta".

I thought the name Milano has a latin derivation: Mediolanum- "medio-lanum" - in the middle of fog .
Anyway great city, where the best team of the world comes from: FC INTERNAZIONALE !
