@Markherz: Thanks Mark
You wouldn't expect so much snow in Milan? Yet Milan, in winter, the city is fairly cold and with a certain frequency of snowfall. However, you had to see it today, with a beautiful blue sky and with the north Lombardy Alps and west of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta Alps that were full of snow, frame the city skyline.

Genius Loci: scusa Genius, mi sono completamente dimenticato di mettere il nome di dreamjay come autore, mi dispiace.
![]() E con questa siamo a 2 bacchettate, spero che alla 3a bacchettata non mi espelliate dal forum ![]() Markherz: Hello Mark, unfortunately, as he wrote the Italian moderator, the pictures are not mine, are User Lists dreamjay, I took these photos from Italian forum because I am not personally good as a photographer. I also tried to photograph something, but then when I tried to load it with imageshack charge me no less than 2 MB image (too big) and then I had no idea how to shrink the photos. If you know how to do, would you please explain it to me. ![]() I'm sorry again for not writing the author of the picture, I hope that now does not kill me with insults.

The one and only time I visit Milan I was very pleased with the city. Maybe it's because I always heard it was not a beautiful city, only a functional city. But I found the architecture in the center very appealing. The outskirts are some of the least attractive in Europe but that's rather common in Italy and Spain. It's a Southern European thing. But the city-centre is very, very nice.

Do you think that the historical centers of all those cities are villages dating back to Roman times (several archaeological finds were found in these cities).These were just a few of the hidden beauties of the old city in the metropolitan area of Milan, here's a list of cities with old towns of Milan from the middle ages: Melegnano (population 16.859) Binasco (population 7.275) Lacchiarella (population 8.062) Monza (population 121.872) Rho (population 50.648) San Colombano al Lambro (population 7.490) Certosa di Pavia (population 4.832) Pavia (population 71.345) those that I listed are among the most important medieval city center of Milan, and then conclude with tell you that in Milan there are a lot of things to see and is very easy to find P.S Milan is not London, a city that more than Old Town, on the outskirts there are only a small terraced houses and condominiums that I personally find it ugly |
