No

nope...but a quick googling reveals these are mostly regional airlines with very few destinations to other continents.

For example wiki says Delta just got a few slots for heathrow airport and would be flying the first non-stop transatlantic flight from june this year.

Neither American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines or United can be called “regional carriers” They are all huge global carriers, with a presence is most continents.

As for Delta, it will be there first transatlantic flight from Heathrow, but that’s it, they already have a number of transatlantic flights from airports such as Gatwick and Dublin for starters.

American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines and United have very little presence in the Middle East and South Asia. They're mostly seen in Western Europe, North America and parts of the Far-East, so how are they "global carriers". Emirates, Malaysian, British etc are global carriers.

I said they had few destinations outside of NA (few atleast as compared to others like BA, singapore airlines, JAL, Emirates, thai, etc).

Tell me how many middle east/asian/african/european airports do they serve as compared to NA airports or as compared to the airlines I mentioned? So unless you are going to the US, you are very unlikely to come across any of those airlines whereas the airlines I mentioned operate numerous flights to all regions and hence are very well known.

They aren't that well traveled carriers outside the US/American continent.

Two New Routes to Pakistan Take-off
PIA Pakistan International Airlines have again started flying direct from Glasgow International Airport to Pakistan.

PIA previously operated twice weekly flights to Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore before having to axe all flights to Glasgow and a number of other worldwide destinations due to operational difficulties.

Pakistan’s national carriers has now put their problems behind them and are once again fly to Pakistan direct from Glasgow. Initially the airline will offer two flights to Lahore and one flight a week to Faisalabad. The brand-new Glasgow to Faisalabad flight is the United Kingdom’s first and only route to Faisalabad.

PIA’s first flight back into Glasgow arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule with the return flight to Faisalabad departing 15 minutes early.

Flights from Glasgow to Pakistan can be booked now by contacting PIA Pakistan Airlines on 0141-221-9936.

Still can't believe PIA doesn't fly into Bradford-Leeds out of all the places in the UK. So that makes it 4 British destinations now. London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
