The calendar was revealed.
Destruction will begin in September 2009 (18 months of work)
The construction of the tower should begin in the first quarter 2011 for a length of 24 months.

Demolition of the old tower must have started a month ago, but no pics of demolition.

i'm from lyon and i don't know if the work has begun ! everytime i walk close to the old tower , there is no signs of demolition work ....

must catch some informations

Things are speedind up lately. Indeed, a first tenant has been found, SNCF ("Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français") which will occupy 50% of the tower. Therefore, Sogelym (the property developer), decided to launch the demolition works (UAP tower) . They are due to last between 10 & 12 months.

on the first rendering it was significantly taller than credit lyonnais. on the last pic it is barely higher. is it smaller now?

Gros plan sur la cage télescopique avec au dessus l'élément de rotation de la flèche.
On aperçoit sur la façade à droite une patte (rouge ) d'arrimage de la grue sur la tour.




Dans le prolongement de l'engin de levage on distingue les éléments de la flèche en attente d'assemblage.
