The race is on to the top! 56 leonard vs 30 park... I think 30 park tops out first

It's just exciting to see how far this project has come since it resumed construction a few months ago. I know the foundation was already in place years prior but the substructure was built super fast and now the superstructure itself is making incredible progress. It's obvious this one will top out way before 56 Leonard does because of 30 Park's simplicity.

It should top out by spring of next year I'm predicting, all depends on how much they get done this year.

To have this one and fingers crossed 3 World Trade by the summer, will make 2014 another year to remember.

This building was a longtime a coming, but it'll be worth the wait. What a beautiful designed tower that's equally functional. It'll be fun to see the progress of this building. Thank all of you for keeping us non New Yorker's updated.

Since I did 56 leonard, it would only be fair if I did 30 park as well; so here you go

Off-topic: Are there more 200m+ towers planned for the area besides those two, 2+3WTC and 80 South St.? I feel like I'm forgetting at least one.

Thanks. Found 50 West St. on page 5, will keep an eye on it. Great design, too. (DannyR2713, you should add it since it's U/C. )

Will go through the proposed section for the others later today.

Nice rendering. It looks like it belongs there or was always there. You have to admire that about Robert AM Stern's buildings.

Haha when I have time I'll get to it...Also if everyone wants me to continue I could try to do the other definitive designs in lower manhattan.
