Actually, I think Nordstrom Tower has the best views because it's the tallest residential by roof height in the city. But there are no renderings of the views. However, the renders of One57 and 432 Park Avenue give us a pretty good idea, maybe except for the windows.

I wonder, how the building will change the skyline viewed from Brooklyn. I want to know what an effect it will have on the Woolworth Tower. Are there any renders or models showing that perspective?

Danny R made some great models showing new developments all over the city. A few show lower Manhattan from Brooklyn. Obviously you can ignore the zany 80 South St model, which got scrapped.

Thank you very much. Googled Danny R other models, they are great!

Judging from the pictures above: I thought it would effect the Woolworth building more than it does, but I think it has to do with the Beekham Tower which looks far more imposing from this perspective. The days the Woolworth building is the tallest in the city hall neighborhood are already gone.

Any progress on the cladding? Or is it just a test section as usual?

Another handful of sections were up on the north side, with the other panels, when I went by yesterday, and they really look fantastic in person. This building is going to fit in perfectly downtown.

It's a telephone exchange or wire center building.
