I walked by last week end the cladding is as close to limestone as it gets, it's just covered in dirt, so once it's complete and cleaned, it won't be much of a let down. I'm pretty sure if we get pics of Yankees stadium under construction, it didn't look that great either.

I'll bet everyone would think it was limestone if nobody ever said it was concrete.

It could do with a few more ornaments though.

I like it! I think it really looks good and certainly I would say it's limestone. I kind of wish more limestone clad towers would rise in Lower Manhattan. Excellent candidates for that kind of treatment imo, would be maybe 101 Tribeca (Murray), 45 and 55 Broad Street?

22 Thames should be all glassy since it will be from the Shvo man himself and 80th South since it's located by a wall of glassy towers. :cheers;

Am I the only one who can't tell it's concrete? Only now I can notice with it coming in large sections, but most people could just think it's carved stone sections...
I think it looks fantastic, can't wait to see the glass!
It seems to be rising a lot slower lately though... why is this? it was going fast previously!

this will be an interesting shot in a few years if 2 WTC doesn't resume.

It looks great already. I walk by periodically.

Nice That camera seems to update regularly (every few hours or so), much better than it previously did

It's been slow lately but it will most likely pick up again once they done with the 5th floor above the setback.

Why the fifth exactly?

It's probably slower due to the higher floor to ceiling heights now maybe?
