Looks as though they are finally putting up some kind of cocoon wrapping.

No updates in a while, so here's a slightly old shot from two weeks ago. It has risen three floors since then!

Shot provided by mizago @SSP.

30 Park Place is the under construction building in the foreground right?

Oh muh gah! What an attractive building! I didn't even know about until several minutes ago when I came about this thread. I'm confused about the cladding, however. Is it limestone or concrete?

Nevertheless, 30 Park Place is one of my favorite skyscrapers under construction!

It's textured concrete, meant to emulate limestone. Rather poorly, in some people's opinion.

I think it actually looks better than limestone.

Great shots!
What's that U/C building in those last shots? Looks very interesting and pretty cool!

The way you give credit is pretty...enigmatic for me..
Enigmatism415 is probably well known is his neighborhood but it's more like a username. I think a link would'nt be useless..

I like the sandstone color of the facade. Even though it's precast, an actual sandstone facade would likely be far less durable and would weather/stain poorly. Looking forward to glazing.

honestly I have no idea, but it seems that there are 2 under construction there. one on the next street to 30 Park Place and another one between the 30 Park place and Woolworth building - unless it is part of it which I don't know.

The skinny building in the background is 19 park place http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1262439 . The building next to 30 park is actually part of it, it's a mech building.

I appreciate the detailing on the base. The facade looks a bit bare so any extra details are welcome.
