Is this building rising faster than 432 Park Avenue and Ping An International Finance Center?

Yes, you can't even compare to those lol

In fact, another floor is being formed today. That's brings the total to 3 floors created in one week!

I think it would look better if you couldn't see the horizontal lines of the floor plates.

So even though there's been criticism that Silverstein's using concrete instead of limestone(at least for the lower hotel portion) it doesn't look cheapened? Glad to hear it, and glad you had fun on your excursion downtown today!

Nice. I'm glad there are at least some decorative elements on this tower.

I'm just absolutely in love with the design of this tower.

It would also look great if there was some linear emphasis of the window's vertical rise as you see in many Art Deco buildings.

From today. Lower Manhattan skyline is growing.

You can also see 56 Leonard (first from left).

What I'm gonna say is kind of weird and off topic, but... sheesh, that plane near WTC.

It looks like 30 Park Place has surpassed the height of 56 Leonard.

Just perspective, but it looks a bit eery.

It won't tower much over Woolworth once completed, but at least it won't block the beautiful building from the east. 56 Leonard Street, on the other hand, is going to look visible because of its location to the north.

Gotta admit, with 1WTC standing in that picture, reminds me of a future cityscape from the scifi thriller Ghost in the Shell. (Great show btw)

Earthcam tilted up. Current level is almost even with the cam so we won't be able to see the pouring action anymore.

Maybe they can put some cams on top of T1?
