Yeah, I would accept 30 Park is more inspired by art deco than a faithful adherent to the style. But it's still a very good building!

You know, I don't mind the building (I pass by it everyday) but it seems as though it's too boring, not interesting enough. Especially in New York, I think that this building is a little too much architectural white noise.

I love it... a modern take on Art Deco, though not purely Art Deco. You need towers these days that aren't glass based and each one we get that's a positive architecturally, I'll get behind. Too much glass just doesn't seem warm and intimate, but cool and distant. I love a blend of styles and this, New York by Gehry, even 5 Beekman give more of a balance to the look of the skyline. (I just am talking about modern towers, a good number of classic style skyscrapers in the area too highlighted by Woolworth)
