See, at least based on the model, I don't see the walls as blank; if the joins between the panels/slabs are that obvious on the real thing, I think it has plenty going on.

I think it would, the current construction boom is getting bigger and more high profile with each day

That'd be nice, but it's a really good height for the area.

Probably, he's got one in the works on the West side which should be ~1100 + though

Who knows, maybe - given the right demand - that 1 100 building might go even higher.Ii'd certainly love if it accumulated 300 more feet

I love this building, it blends in nicely with the lower Manhattan skyline, it's beautiful, and it is not completely encased in glass like every other new building in Manhattan.

A pity it's not 14m taller . But nevertheless, it fits great in the skyline!

As noted, the 3 blocks north of the WTC have always been tawdry with dilapidated tenements and cheap stores amidst gorgeous old buildings that need TLC. This, Silverstein's ambitiousness with 30 Park, in terms of the height and pricing, surprised me. (That being said, once one passes that third block, one enters stunning, high-end TriBeCa.)

Fortunately, the crap is being replaced.
