Okay, question time:
I want to go digital. I've been using an old Yashica TL-Electro and after that a Honeywell Pentax, both with a plethora of old (mostly Yashinon) lenses. It's been fun, but carrying around a bunch of film and spending big money for developing (not to mention finding places that still develop, and can do so competently) is getting tiresome. I've been using a 2.1 megapixel (Not a mistake) Olympus instead. There's also the fact that I'm not quite sure where my Honeywell and lenses are, which could mean the crazy ex-girlfriend has them which most likely means they're in the trash. Anywho, there's a catch: I'd like a DSLR and a lens (I'm thinking something like a basic 18-55mm), and would like it to come out right around $200. I know I'm not getting anything fantabulous for that, but I'm dieing to go out shooting again and have waaayyy too many other bills to spend real money on a nice new outfit. What do you guys think of these: Canon KISS Digital http://www.keh.com/camera/Canon-Digi...990770560?r=FE Canon 18-55mm http://www.keh.com/camera/Canon-Digi...990785220?r=FE Fuji Finepix S2 Pro http://www.keh.com/camera/Nikon-Digi...91091080?r=FE# Nikon 28-80mm http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-28-80mm-...8493961&sr=1-8 Definitely open to suggestions. Outside of the '70s vintage stuff I've been using, this sort of thing is greek to me. |

I might try a different lens to that though since the Fuji had an ASPC crop sensor 28mm on it is going to be the equivilent field of view of around 45mm on your 35mm camera. I'd go for a cheaper Nikon DX lens instead like the current 18-55mm VR or maybe the older 18-70mm. |

I just got an upgrade from Canon 30D to 5D Mark III. Feels like I've been living like a dinosaur with that 5 year old body. I also bought some cards and Adobe Lightroom 4.

I added a Canon EFS 55-250mm Telezoom lens to my camera bag. Comes with an Image Stabilizer. Tested it. I am happy with the new addition.

Sleek case! Did you cut out the holes yourself or does it just all fit right?

http://maniacwcamera.blogspot.ca/201...g-usually.html & my iPhone 4s is usually with me if I'm too lazy to pull out my 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5... No, I don't have any wide-angle f/2.8s yet. I'm too busy saving up for the TC-20EIII, TC-14EII and the 600mm f/4 VR.
