The hole of Skycity is much much deeper. Is the hole for the whole building or the core. I looks small IMO.

Update!!! October 7, 2008 (from their website http://www.centurycity.com.ph/news44.html)

Excavation work at the construction site of The Gramercy Residences is almost complete, with depth reaching 26.7 meters covering the 6 levels of basement floors and more than 30 meters for the elevator shafts.

Cleaning of the excavation area is also underway, after which foundation works will commence. According the Century City Development Corp. (CCDC), an affiliate of Century Properties and developer of Gramercy, the first phase will comprise the installation of the metal rebars this October.

The Gramercy Residences is the country’s first Fully-serviced, Hyper-amenitized luxury condominium, and the first residential tower to rise at Century City in Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City.

the excavation is very deep and huge!!!

Will this tower join the cluster of Makati towers that form the nice skyline?

The way Asian cities grow, it will one day be within the cluster, I am sure...

i don't think the homeowners between Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia) and the gramercy would be moving out anytime soon. the only way i can think of is by putting more developments along Makati Avenue. but that would mean adding more to the already high traffic volume in that area.

but i don't really mind this building not being IN the makati cluster. just look at it from the mandaluyong area and it would appear as though it were part of the cluster. it's just a matter of perspective. har har.

Agree.

Mandaluyong residents like me will have a great view of Gramercy and Knightsbridge.
