ure wrong!
Ive never liked Azerb. airport but Im always saying Baku as a city has a lot of things to offer! Its has very nice architecture, warm people, amazing food! The city is booming and its has very interesting future, beautiful girls (bots not so),
But there is no perfect country!
There is some things u must improve like:
-to clean the beach
-to make smth with airport...Ive waited 6 hours for 1 visa...just cuz....there was just 1 worker and there is someone coming and ask me If I want to get visa now pay more 100$ etc...
-there is almost no gaylife

Bro, i and many other passangers were waiting for 4 hours at Keneddy airport in NYC. I have never heard someone to be waited so much in Baku.

As for gay life in Baku. Yes Baku is not Amsterdam, London, Paris or even Moscow. But i know one gay club opened in Baku 2-3 months ago.

Yeah it is opened. It is not so big but very cool and modern. There are many brands there in it such as: ECCO, Salamander, Chevignon, Tom Taylor, Swatch and others.

well what do you expect from a post soviet era country with a muslim population. This is no joke but in russian republics like chechnya or dagestan they kill (often familiy members) gays

House of magnate Isa bek Hajinsky built in 1907. The building also notable with the fact that the leader of French Resistance Charles de Gaulle stayed there during his brief visit to Azerbaijan in 1944

Old German Lutheran church in Baku built in 1915 by German settlers. . The complex adjacent to the church (right building on the picture), known as the Kappellhaus was renovated in 1999 by German companies and has since become the center of Azerbaijani-German cultural exchange.

Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Holy Myrrh bearers. The building was erected in 1909 through personal donations. In 1920, it was one of the first places of religious worship to be closed down as a result of Sovietization. It was used first as a warehouse and later as a gymnasium. During the Black January of 1990, it was hit by missiles fired by the Soviet troops, and the building was severely damaged. In 1991, the building was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church. With the financial aid provided by the Azerbaijani-born Russian entrepreneur Aydin Gurbanov, the building was fully restored by 2000. On 27 May 2001, Russian Patriarch Alexius II elevated the church's status to that of a cathedral.

The Holy Myrrhbearers Cathedral holds on to a shrine with the relics of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, who is believed to have been crucified near the Maiden Tower in what is now downtown Baku, Azerbaijan.

Yes, indeed great! But sadly uncredited. Please tell us who took the pics, Dr Zoidberg, and note that after March 1, uncredited pictures like this will unfortunately have to be deleted, as people must adhere to the new rule (that has been promoted endlessly here for the past two months). Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
