I dont think it has much to do with that, the crown of this tower especially is quite a doubtful design decision to say the least.

Same goes with Dubai most of it is just due to ignorance about the market situation there...

Heck im a bosnian and im religiously indifferent, im not sure about this :P . The ottomans didnt "leave" they got kicked out in 1832 but forced their way back... local issues is a different issue. I pardon your lack of knowledge of bosnian history, cant be easy, hehe. But lets get back to topic .

that's fine friends
architecture so subjective
its combination of art science of construction
there's always right and wrong
judgement on our reason makes the different
thanks Alle your correction on the history part.

by the way, back to the topic
honestly, by checking the architect's website, i like their architecture style
i am not really like the glass colour
may be the image still in the design process.

peace

I share the same view with Jarmo... the design is so 80s and this aplies for the twist tower also. They'll add quantity to Sarajevo's Skyline but not necessarily quality.
City Hall officials should be ashamed of themselves for letting these developers hire mediocre architects to produce such hideous projects of large scale.

I also unfortunately think that the architecture and for example the materials used in the towers are hideous. BUT it is good that we are seeing projects of this scale in Sarajevo.
