I can't imagine a tower of this size going up on speculation, is there a major tenant...!!!

....

that's an old picture that building you have outlined is completed it's 330' tall. 1918 8th is going up on the same block it's going to be 500' tall. there's also 2 other towers going up on the block.

Wow, in that pic, I thought I would see more change in the skyline. I haven't been up to Seattle in at least 2 years now, I would have thought there would be many more condo towers in view. Just Wamu, which is fine, otherwise I am actually somewhat disappointed. When I was driving from Vancouver to LA last October, I went the 405 through Bellevue, now THAT is a changed skyline. Hope to see more change in Seattle when I'm up there next month.

This tower is moving right along. Now that its sibling is complete on the back side of the block I can see this is going to be a great addition.

Here is a camera on the site.

Does anybody have more recent updates of this tower? Can't put it as an image, doesn't work.

Seattle investment-management firm Parametric Portfolio Associates has leased two floors in the recently completed, 36-story 1918 Eighth office tower in the Denny Triangle, building owner Schnitzer West announced.

With Parametric's 42,000-square-foot lease, the 650,000-square-foot tower now is about 20 percent leased. It is the largest of a half-dozen office projects in greater downtown completed last year.
