Cities with air-conditioned metro trains?

Hi,

I would like to know which of the world's metro systems run air-conditioned trains. I only know for sure about Singapore.

Are there air-conditioned trains in your city or do you know about other cities?

Here's the updated list gained from the posts below:

Athens (ROTEM type trains), Victoria station
Baltimore
Barcelona (since 1992)
Boston
Brescia (under construction)
Brisbane
Cairo (5 a/c stations)
Chicago
Delhi
Fortaleza
Guangzhou
Hongkong
Kuala Lumpur
Lisbon
Los Angeles
Madrid (type 2000, 3000, 7000, 8000 trains)
Manila
Melbourne
Miami
Milan
New Jersey PATH
New York MTA (experimental service by late 1940's, system-wide by the 1970's)
Oslo (T2000 type)
Perth (since 1991)
Philadelphia
Porto
Rome
San Francisco
Singapore 1987, all underground stations
Sydney
Toronto
Turin (under construction)
Vancouver
Vienna
Washington, D.C.

all Chinese metros (?)

All trains for Kuala Lumpur. I'm very sure all South East Asian ones have them.

There has to be some sort of Air "conditioning" in all subway systems right? Whether its hot or cold relevent to the climate of the surroundings.

New York City started experimental service in the late 1940's. It was system wide by the 1970's.

Most of Melbournes trains are AC, exept the older hitachi sets, but those are nearlly all phased out.

I'm sure every city in the world has air conditioned metro trains - what a strange question?

I must admit, I love public transport. I love walking out of an airconditioned train or bus and into the thick humid heat - you know your alive!!

In Milan they are making a revamping of old convoys, they're installing air-con on every train
New lines in project will have trains with air-con too

In Rome new trains they bought have air-conditioned system

And in Turin and Brescia (where new metro systems are u/c) trains will have all air-con on board...

For other Italian cities with metro I can't say anything; really I don't know...

No, I was thinking of cooling systems only.

There are many metro systems in cool climates which only have heaters but no (cooling) air-conditioning.

Toronto does. I don't think Montréal does. I remember being hot in it once. London Underground doesn't. It can get up to 40c in the hottest times of the summer. Very hot when people are pressed up to you.
