Also the biggest problem here is parking!But if its promoted in a such a way as KL largest area for clothing etc etc and encouraging people to take the LRT it will boom.

I don't think it is really practical even it well connected with LRT as it for wholesale and the buyers mostly want to come with their big orders and not just for window shopping. So they need the parking area to loading their goods. For normal buyers they don't go to Kenanga Wholesale to buy clothes or few metres of fabrics...most of them will go to Jalan TAR, Jln Masjid India or Sogo.

I wonder what station is the nearest...hang tuah or pudu ? And is it really convenient walking from LRT station to this monster..

It just an eyesore , a hideous massive concrete smacked right in the city. If it is build with glass and steel surely can be like a jewel for KL

Was there today. First impression, more upmarket than expected. 60% Shops are open and mostly are nicely renovated.

Overall the mall is well zoned. And they've spent quite a fair bit on LED lighting

i would say it is above Patinum (Bangkok) standard. However product pricing is still not as attractive

doesnt look like warehouzmall....not like platinum,mangga2,pasarbaru or any guangzhao warehouz malls....more like the normal ordinary shoppingmalls...

Good place to showcase local designer's fashion. Hope they hold fashion shows by local designers to pull in the crowd regularly.

Dongdaemun in Seoul is very well linked by the subway lines. What is there in KL to bring people to this wholesale mall?

2 LRT stations,1 Monorail station within walking distance

Dont bother driving into that area during peak hours.

FYI, the Jalan Kenanga area might not be everyone's choice of area but it is the 'clothing central' of KL (if not Malaysia). Go ask around (esp older residents of KL) if "Ho Ching Yuen" means anything to em. Most cloth-related distributors are there or started there. It is a one-stop place for clothing-related stuffs.

Sg. Wang is Ah Beng.......however it is also one of the most vibrant shopping mall in the country. It is also one of the malls where there are sctually things to buy rather than those feel good window shopping type of mall.
