What 'stony mountainriver'? Ljubljanica runs through Ljubljana, not in mountains.

Á is a "higher" version of A. Á is like when you say AAchen (the German town), while A is harder to explain, not really used in other languages (maybe in Finnish ). Similar is E and É. You say E like "get", É is like the first e when you say "Edelweiss" in German. Í is a long I, like "bee" and "hit". same goes for O-Ó, Ö-Ő, U-Ú and Ü-Ű (say "on" and "ohne", "Köln" and "Goethe", "Ulm" and "hook", "Lübeck" and "grün")

Hope it is clear

My last girlfriend (long time since that ) was a Hungarian from Lend(a)va, so I know some basics in pronunciation, like 'a' and 'á'.

Yes, I'm sure the mighty Vaalserberg dominates its surroundings.

The highest mountain in the Netherlands is 877 meters high. It's a stratovolcano.

I don't think this is written correctly. These are "print" letters (štampane), not "written" letters (pisane).

for non-hungarian speakers the easiest way to explain a-á and e-é differences is this: a is similar to o, something between a and o. á is normal a. with e's it is opposite: e is normal e, é is similar to i, something between e and i. but if you're in Nógrád county, you don't have these problems: they don't complicate it and both a and á are normal a (also, e and é are normal e).
