In 1898 to come from Vienna to Ljubljana with a car, that must have been something. was it a SUV?

you can see how Czechoslovakia had almost the same number of cars as Austria, a proof it was highly developped before WWII.

You mean WWI. I heard that after WWI Czechoslovakia was richer than Austria and Italy, then obviously it becames undeveloped because of communism. Also Prussia (East Germany) was very industrialized in the XIX - early XX century, more than the rest of Germany.

The tallest bonfire ever was set up in Slovenia. I don't know about the oldest bonfire. We have the oldest flute in the world, if that helps.
