Gas over there is as cheap as mineral water over here.

Not really. You can fill up your tank for about 2 euros.

That is wrong - stop spreading rumors you!

One liter of mineral water costs about 2.5 times one liter of premium around here...

I heard you can fill up your tank of gas in Venezuela for 1 dollar. A lot of countries are actually subsidizing fuel. I can't imagine that in the Netherlands, where, according to internet news site www.nu.nl, Dutch fuel has the highest taxation in the world, about 65 - 70% of the total price.

Dutch fuel price:

Raw fuel price
VAT over fuel price (19%)
Fuel tax
VAT over fuel tax (sick)
-----------------------------+
total price

Meanwhile, we are nearing the $ 10 per gallon mark very fast, currently, gas (euro 95) costs $ 9.87 per gallon. Super (euro 98) is at $ 10.19 per gallon, and Diesel is at $ 8.79 per gallon. LPG is by far the cheapest with $ 4.07 per gallon.

That's what I said. You can't get one whole tank of mineral water for just 2 € there. Hell, not even here, far from that.

I didn't say "over here", I said "over there". I wish that petrol would be as cheap over here as over there

Interesting, i heard on the radio that a modern diesel engine is as clean and fuel efficient as a hybrid car! Time to switch to Diesel

I heard too. Renault Scenic turns out to be the least efficient.

Yes... if you're a Dutchman. But not, if you're a Slovene.

Gas prices here are about $4.20/gallon (almost €0.71/liter).

As for diesel, about $5/gal (€0.84/liter).

Naturally, since all of you live in Europe, I don't expect much sympathy from you.

Interesting. Why doesn't the US government or media push this is beyond me.

However, I don't think much people would be eager to change over since diesel is more here.

I don't think any country in Europe has such low gas prices. Even in like Ukraine or Russia it's higher.

In Russia it's cheaper, in Ukraine it's the same as in US. I believe Belarus is somewhere inbetween.

It's been raining for a few days here.

Sahara sand to be exact. Check out my "red" car.

I can't believe I can't find a single pic on the Internet of the Sahara sand raining in Geneva a few years ago.

I was making pics yesterday of an intersection in Lochem, a town in Gelderland province, for my work. I made 100% coincidentally a pic of a SUV, and the guy came out of his car and was very mad, saying he was about to call the cops because i took a pic of his car.

How about that.
