I wish I was fluent in another language... I still remember a very tiny amount (maybe five or six words) of Afrikaans, because I lived in Cape Town until I was nine years old, and I know a few words of French from when I studied it for a year at school, but apart from that I don't speak anything other than English.

Incidentally, I find that pictures of Dutch roads usually feel rather homely to me, because of the similarity between Dutch and Afrikaans.

I know I don't need to learn another one, but sometimes I feel I'd like to learn one just for the experience of it. I think if I were to learn one, I'd probably relearn Afrikaans; South Africa is where I feel most at home, but I still kind of feel out of place knowing only one of the two most commonly spoken languages there.

Yeah, at least I can understand the written Afrikaans. The spoken Afrikaans is quite difficult to understand.

I got a postcard from Bonaire, I hope at least Chris and Timon know where it is. Why did they delay joining the EU? Is there any new date?

Hehe, mine cooler works very quietly. Only the 9600GT card's cooler becomes too noisy when I start playing games.

i have GTX+ card and cooler is pretty quiet even with open casebox... but that generic processor cooler was sounded like some tractor-pulling contest...

I've should have bought GT SILENT, cooler with a radiator they work with no noise at all, but it was more expensive than with a ventilator.
