Same with McDonald's. I don't like German McDonald's, it's too salty and doesn't taste good, even if you order the exact same thing as in Denmark or France.

I know there are for alcohol and tobacco products...
For Serbia, there is no any restriction related to coffee, only for alcohol and tobacco.

It may depends on the person who prepares the meal too. Thus, the same McD item may taste differently in each branch or regarding the shift.

All I have to say about McDonalds is this: there should be more Burger Kings.

I wish the European fast-food landscape was as diverse as the U.S. Fast-food is dominated by McDonald's, especially along major highways. You have a much better choice in different styles of fast-food in North America.

And lots of options that aren't fast food....

(I can go months without entering a McDonalds, stereotypes notwithstanding!)

I prefer KFC over McDonald's, but KFC in Austria is rubbish compared to KFC in Hungary or Romania.

What I found to be the same are sandwiches from Subway Austria & Romania.

Subway is the best fast-food. But... I "like" how they slowly rise their prices. KFC is rubbish in my country. Not a serious rival to McD.

What you all need (among other things) is Arby's.
And what WE need is more Tim Horton's south of the [US-Canada] border.

I would like that in Europe too. Apparently the coffee from Timmy's is legendary.

the best chain of restaurants to me is Nordsee, although it is not fast food anymore, but i put it into same category with McD, BK etc.

i wanted to say that McD tastes different from restaurant to restaurant in the same city, but somebody has overtaken me and said the truth that it tastes different between shifts in the same restaurant

btw we are getting the first Burger King nowadays (at A1 between Zagreb and Karlovac)

KFC in Sri Lanka have more chillies in them than chicken. You also get rice as a standard side.

There are no McDonalds in Barbados. One did open but shut shortly after due to low sales. Reason being that chicken & fish are the staple meats over there. Chefette is the main fast food outlet along with a few KFC.

It is but for not really reasons related to the coffee itself, you can make better coffee in your pot at home

There's a Tim Horton's on the US Navy base in Norfolk, VA I am told, we Canadians are slowly taking over

I like the Czech McDonald's where you can get a Pilsener Urquell with your "Royale with cheese", everything else is nothing.

One strange thing about Euro McDo vs US... the Americans give much bigger drinks (sometimes with unlimited refills), but the Europeans give a ketchup packet that is ridiculously huge, like 3 or 4 times the size of American. (???)

In Estonia there are very few McDonald's restaurants...10, to be precise

The market leader is the Finnish fast food chain Hesburger:

Estonia has neither KFC nor Burger King. Subway entered the market only recently. They are allegedly doing quite well and planning on rapid expansion.

Burger Kings used to be good before the microwave oven was invented. They actually fresh-cooked your hamburger to order instead of just nuking something they'd cooked who knows how long ago. Yuck!

The Harvey's chain in Canada probably best fast food burger around here, they cook the patties fresh on charcoal grille

However their fries / onion rings are lacking and they don't serve beer at all
