But some of them tried to share their knowledge and experiences.

- Medjugorje is well known place in Bosnia if not the most popular.
- Some of them even knew about civil war.
- About Serbia, they knew about the Slovak minority, about Kosovo and especially boys (perhaps the consequence they are usually more interested in history) were familiar with the name Slobodan Milosević.
- On Montenegro they responded surprisingly (what? is that a country?) But somehow I feel they memorized the name of Bar city very well

I was surprised and little bit disappointed they had not known anything about Mostar and current Slovak MoFA Miroslav Lajčák's incumbent as High representative in 2007-2009.

This video is old and seemingly fake (or rahter viral), but one can find a different point of view of this video in the context of current events :-)

I hope it never happens, are they're horrible people!
For example, our would-be king Vittorio Emanuele Alberto Carlo Teodoro Umberto Bonifacio Amedeo Damiano Bernardino Gennaro Maria di Savoia (but friends can call him Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia ) admitted killing a 19-year-old boy by shooting from his yacht, despite being acquitted in the trial.
He was also arrested for corruption and prostitution exploitation.

His dad fled during WWII instead of defending Italy, whereas his son is just a useless idiot who makes advertisements for brine olives

And the 1992-1995 conflict was civil war, was not?

That is the original understanding, until it got complicated and all these little countries emerged...

Of course, but at that time, not all the affected countries were fully internationally recognized so it is indeed hard to tell whether it was civil war or international conflict. How can you call it anyway?

actually, International Court of Justice (which has miraculously not been invented by one of those silly Balkan ministates, but by big western players) has determined it as international, and not civil conflict.

Three nations overlapping three major religions fighting against each other within the more or less artificial entity in a former country that was socialist but did not like Soviets and had good relationships with the West. Could it have been more complicated?

Not really. And because it was anti-Soviet (so was Romania) and had good relations with the West, nobody in the West saw it coming. When the West DID respond, it was already too late. They sent UN peacekeepers, but by then everybody lost the plot anyway.
