I hope Serbia will join this club too. And in the long run the whole continent.

Quite all right. I was for them (and us of course) up till now, and after this I'll be for the winner. But since when do Dutch people support the Belgians?

Cause I'd like to see which insults Stephen Colbert has for the Belgians

Heard the Dutch ones when Geert Anema was being a dick about us winning 22 medals in ice-skating whilst you didn't.

Other than that I think it'd be fun to have Germany - Belgium as a semi final and then one of them in the final against us

I wouldn't count Cortina as "a small mountain village". And family-run small businesses exist all over the world, mostly with much longer working times as afternoon siesta is not a worldwide tradition.

As for die hard mountaineers: a sandwich and energy bars may be good for some, but not always. For example in Slovenia I can always expect mountain hut or some valley restaurant to offer warm food any time of the day (except in the middle of the night) but not in Italy. If you do whole day bike tour, it is not practical nor healthy to eat just junk food and artificial things. A good meal at the end is a necessity.

Maybe you'll get Chinese and will overtake small businesses to make them successful as it already happened here - I have such restaurant with domestic food just over the street. After Chinese took over from previous owners it is again full of people. And they don't serve any chinese food.

Fair enough. Although I thought you didn't get Colbert over there. (Seriously, I read somewhere that Comedy Central didn't run Colbert overseas because they didn't think non-Americans would find him funny.) I haven't watched him in ages, though. Or Jon Stewart. Only so many hours in the day.

We receive Comedy Central, Comedy Central Family and Comedy Central Extra over here. If I recall correctly The COlbert Report and the Daily Show air on the last one, but I might be wrong. All I know for sure, is that it's on channel 131
The shows air in the morning between 6:00 and 11:00 on loop (and also in the evening around 8pm or something like that), so when I wake up before going to school (well, you know, when I don't have vacation like now ) I watch them both and then leave for school.

Sudden realisation: I use a lot of brackets

Im not a big fan either, but I very much like the fact that a goal is a real event when it happens. But I would never watch anything else then a European or a World Cup to be honest.

No goal does not necesserily mean no action.

That, and the fact that in our media sports are basically association football, explains why I hate the damn sport. Despite that my parallel World Cup is well underway, sticking to the real World Cup schedule.

Anyway, I prefer to do orienteeing, basically to run in a forest searching for controls. I have linked orienteeing races to clinching roads, for example returning from one in late March I got off from (Spanish) A-23 to drive A-1304...

So far we've had 16 and 4 shots on target - this match is anything but boring.

Team USA plays well but they were out of steam after 60 minutes.

It's the big night of Tim Howard. So far he has made 12 saves - and the US defense blocked the ball 8 times to help him.

EDIT: Wondolowski could have won the match.

Yes, I enjoyed it. However, it's midnight in Central Europe and it's the third night in a row with an extra time. Quite annoying.

As the BBC commentator has just said at the full time whistle - "Even though its 0-0 it proves you don't need to score 200 points to make it interesting!"

Indeed, this match is insane!

Belgium could've scored soooo often! Howard is having the match of his life!
