Today I entered this toll booth. 1st and 2nd lanes (from left) had 8-10 cars each, the 3rd was empty. Since it's a mixed Telepass\ticket lane, people though it was a Telepass only lane and didn't used it. Since I know the trick, I passed the entire queue on the right and went through.
Same in Serbia.

Yes, all toll booths in Europe I know of (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, UK) doesn't require authorisation from the bank, so you can still pay by card, even though you have gone over your maximum overdraft.

I've only paid once by my card, but it was in Macedonia and the employee did not offered me to pay "contactlessly" (I am not sure about this word ).

It is funny, because when you pay with authorization required and have to type the PIN code, it might take longer time than classic cash payment. But if it possible to pay without authorization, it is indeed quick.

here in HR a ***** sometimes gives you POS scanner through the window of a booth to enter the PIN if you are paying with debit card
but at automatic booths it is as you say - in and out

Not exactly. Concerning toll payments, the fastest is the best. The other thing, instead...

Okay, here is another (off)topic proposal:

What is the best product (you suggest to buy, taste, etc.) made in your country available in stores? And what is the worse?

The best products in Serbia you can buy in open market
Those are vegetables,burgers...
And the worse is probably McDonald's food.Their food is much better in Hungary,Germany...

You've summed it up quickly.

Serbian pljeskavica is the best. Especially with onion and some kind of paprika sauce (? I am not sure, it has orange colour). Currently I have Gorki List at home: I am not saying it does not taste good, but it reminds me medications (those for sore throat).

Hungarian wines are great. Especially Muscatel. But the best things in Hungary is Salamis.

In Slovakia I suggest you Kofola (soft cola-based drink) and bryndza-based foods (bryndza = brand of cottage cheese).

I do not recommend "Czech/Slovak rice" (it is kind of rice-looking pasta). It might be good, but I have not ever eaten it prepared good. And Zincica (sheep milk whey based drink). I've tasted once... and spent difficult days in different positions on a restroom.

In my opinion the best burger is with onion, ketchup, cabbage and a half of spoon of paprika.
