Télépéage almost makes paying tolls fun. You can see those French drivers looking at you when you take the leftmost lane. Many decide not to drive behind me, afraid I'm another clueless Dutch who takes the wrong lane Paying tolls is very fast this way, I wish they had more 30 km/h lanes at exits though. I passed through perhaps 15 toll booths so far and only mainline toll stations have 30 km/h lanes.

Serbian pljeskavica is the best. Especially with onion and some kind of paprika sauce (? I am not sure, it has orange colour). Currently I have Gorki List at home: I am not saying it does not taste good, but it reminds me medications (those for sore throat).

Hungarian wines are great. Especially Muscatel. But the best things in Hungary is Salamis.

In Slovakia I suggest you Kofola (soft cola-based drink) and bryndza-based foods (bryndza = brand of cottage cheese).

I do not recommend "Czech/Slovak rice" (it is kind of rice-looking pasta). It might be good, but I have not ever eaten it prepared good. And Zincica (sheep milk whey based drink). I've tasted once... and spent difficult days in different positions on a restroom.
Funny how cheese on Romanian is "brânză" (old spelling brînză), that sounds very close to bryndza...

I tried Kofola, it's ok, if you don't drink to much I also tried the non-sugar variant, it was awful
I drank Cockta in Croatia, it was actually not bad.

Pljeskavica is great, I ate good one also in Maribor, but have a good one too in Timisoara

To be fair I have to admit that I'm rather a beer person so I'm not a wine aficionado or anything. But sometimes even I like to enjoy our white wines (somehow red is just not for me) - and that's why it bugs me when I see some suspicious liquids being selled on the lower shelves of supermarkets as wines (usually for a 1/4 of the price of a reasonably drinkable one).

Anyway I know kofola and also strapacka with bryndza on it - it's one of my favorite dishes.

I think it has origin somewhere in Wallachia.

I don't like red wine either. Although it is well-known fact that this kind of wine is healthy (I've heard that 1dl of red wine daily is a cure for longevity), it makes me feel heavy in my stomach. I like sweet or semisweet white ones (but not those in cartoons ).

It's got a Dutch registration plate, so it means the trailer is registered. US built by the looks of it...

it must be as empty as the humanitarian convoy. Otherwise I don't understand how it's still driving. And he was doing 100km/h with that.

Russian road rage with a twist. Looks like someone came to the wrong neighbourhood.

That neighbourhood being Kids TV

I just found a cheap flight to Barcelona from 30th October to 4th November (80€ for 2 persons, return flight).
I was just wondering how the weather usually is in that time of the year?

http://weatherspark.com/averages/320...Cataluna-Spain

Good weather, autumn and spring are the best times for visit BCN, but seriously, be warned about pickpockets.

For forecasts and averages I use weatherspark.com, it's really complete but probably complex, they even have radar maps, just like wunderground.com/wundermap/
