It's "perché", not "perchè"

Spanish is also wrong. It is ¿Por qué?, with an space. 'Porqué' also exists, but is used without question marks.

By the way, this view isn't from an airplane or balloon, but from a mountain. (1,300 feet* or so)

*420, 430 meters, maybe?

The highest point in Maine is Mount Katahdin. It's quite 'Alpine' in character, perhaps the most of any peak in eastern U.S.

I believe that's where the Appalachian Trail starts. Or ends. Depending on your point of view.

I'll probably get to Mount Desert Island (Acadia National Park) while I'm up there.

Probably 90% of Italians don't know the difference between è and é. There is virtually no difference between them in handwriting. MS automatic corrector replaces perchè with perché, though.

Here's something cool, at least for weirdos like us:

I just discovered MapQuest uses authentic symbols (keystones in Pennsylvania, little maps of Ohio...) for state routes in the U.S.

It also ends, or starts, at Mount Springer in Azerbaijan Georgia.

How will new Norwegian krone banknotes look like in 2017:

backside

front side

Quote:
The real new bill issues, however, may look a bit different from the designs presented here, as they have yet to incorporate public and machine-readable security elements into them. You can see the new series in the “Norway’s New Banknote Series: The Sea” exhibition in the Grafill visual design organization’s exhibition space in Oslo, Rosenkrantz gate 21, from 7 to 26 October.

Interesting fact: numbers are the same as those at Serbian dinar banknotes (euro too):

Did they really have to choose the same colors of euro banknotes? Lots of confusion ahead

Canadian banknotes are plastic. Do we have that in Europe as well?
