Thank you a lot. But I still think, Bratislava does not look like 6th richest region of EU at all. It is just consequence of clear statistical data misinterpretation and of course its unreliability.

However, the city really is changing, especially the revival of the centre is something I am glad to see. On the other hand, unlike Vienna, the environment is still very foreign tourist unfriendly (horrible train and bus station, lack of English directions, PT). Vienna is somewhere else. I have not been in outskirts, but that inner city always leave me good impressions.

Having that size matters on my mind, I think it is not very easy to compare them. Vienna is the huge and important city that attracts people from all over Europe (or World) including noticeable amount from different cultural areas whereas Bratislava has only its local importance (it is very rare to see Muslims here).

Today we are holding our April Fools' Day, so don't trust all what Spanish sources say. For example, I posted some 'news' about a park in Zaragoza, which is located in a hillside, being flattened.

good old days. i am still carrying Europe road atlas in the car boot (it's too large for the gloves case) and use it occasionaly. i cannot trust to the arrow on the screen, i use it only to break the monotony and for reaching the point in the city centres.

I have noticed that often a lot more guests are looking at our threads than actual members. Why is that? Why don't they feel the need to sign up and join in the fun?
Or perhaps they are spying on us?

You know, Angoulême, where that bench-in-a-cage is, is not that far from the Dordogne, an area long popular with British expats.

I'm just sayin'....
