How can snow invoke feelings of spring? It's just cold. But the sun makes one a bit more happy. Also I passed one of my final exams! Only three more to go before my diploma...

Funny, I just got the results of a traffic count I did in a town which is considered in the Bible Belt.

Monday - Friday: 13,000
Sunday: 3,500

In other towns, you won't see such a big difference. Half of the weekday is usually already quite a deviation on a sunday.

Why are threads here limited to only 1,000 posts? I know threads with over 6,000 posts, and they work perfectly fine.

No sun, just fog and rain. And 30 cm of snow, diminishing pretty rapidly.

Nah, it's for organizing purposes. It also is an incentive to refresh a thread every once in a while.

Since noone answered the question about that weird licence plate in previous topic - I will

The D1 MAA plate is a Polish vanity plate from Dolnośląskie voivodship. Vanity plates in PL consists of one voivodship letter (here D), a serial digit (here 1) and the desired text - from 3 to 5 letters (digits are allowed only at the end of the text).

The polish licence plate system is quite complicated, but since I consider myself a licence-plates-geek I'll write something as soon as the examination session at my university ends.

These are custom plates. You can have those if you pay the addidtional fee of around 250 Euro. The rules for tagging them were explained by Fuzzy Llama a few posts behind. Custom plates are common for BMW drivers who will find every possible way to show-off

We have those in Sweden too, you can put any seven letter combination on it as long as it's not offensive. One guy tried X32IARO but the authorities claim that it could be read as ORALSEX in a rear view mirror
