He was here in Mayrhofen for a bit this week as preperation for our annual Snowbombing festival... The one and only:

7000 UK and worldwide guests are expected. It's our busiest week, as always starting with the London-Mayrhofen road trip...

It's Mardi Gras today and someone on the bus was dressed as a suicide bomber. I was waiting when he'd blow himself up.

What does "dressed as a suicide bomber" mean? Did he have visible (hopefully fake) explosives strapped on? Because a real suicide bomber would presumably hide it and try to blend in.

Unless, of course, he wants us to think that...

my sister (working at school - yes, teaching the kids ) today had a carnival at her school, but at 13h she had appointed visit to doctor with her son (nothing serious), but she didn't have enough time to change the clothes, so she came to dermatologist masked as russian babushka

(not to be completely off topic, 2 years ago she was driving to party under the masks with huge fruit installation on her head (she was Carmen Miranda) when police patrol stopped her due to traffic control - policemen acted as nothing unusual was there and let her go )

I was only worried by the fact that half my ring finger was feeling numb... The doc said it was just the hematoma pressing on the nerve, and it's gonna resolve itself in 5 days or so.

You know, there are some moments, when I think I live in a third world country. Especially if I see the things like I saw today in Kosice (2nd most populous city in Slovakia).

For your information, most of the trams in Slovakia ride in set (i don't know the terminus technicus, but two trams joined together as one). The same goes for Košice where they have trams that are one-directional (with doors on one side) and bi-directional (doors on both sides).

But this is the crazy thing they've made up: they put the bi-directional trams to lines with rails allowing them to turn around and therefore (because of a track rehabilitation) created a new line with one terminus without possibility to turn around.

As they had had lack of bidirectional trams they've created a new type of set:

For those who have not noticed - passengers can use only one car while riding towards terminus, which makes the situation even more funny - the first car is overcrowded while the second is empty

Is there any US embassy covered with Google Street View that is blurred, other than this in Belgrade?

I can't find it again, but last time I saw it (some years ago anyway), the US embassy in Madrid wasn't blurred.
