No idea, but I don't see the point of blurring anything that's plainly visible to anyone who happens to be in the area....

Don't tell this to the Germans... they are afraid people can look inside their homes from Streetview...

Germans are still slightly more open-minded about this kind of stuff than Austrians...

I know that. But what's going on inside that's so interesting?

I mean, if they were French....

You can't even have a dash cam in Austria because you 'invade other peoples privacy'

I had to leave my dash cam in Romania when I moved to Austria.

I have subscriped to Harry Stam, a Dutch lorry driver. He's got some neat dash-cam footage of driving in France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany and even Austria...

You drove to Czech Republic last week, you should have made some videos there

US embassy in Milan is perfectly visible Here it is, with entrance on the street on the right: https://www.google.rs/maps/@45.47567...EX9B3gU1BA!2e0

The entrance (and US flag) is clearly visible here: https://www.google.rs/maps/@45.47544...Op5Da5kmVQ!2e0

However, I've heard that those flower boxes were put in order to discourage possible terrorist attacks with car-bombs. I don't know if it's true

It is hidden behind the trees in Bratislava (you can see the US-style licence plates). The 3 m tall fence is considered as the raping of the very city centre. However, Americans are not the guilty ones in this case - It was local politicians who agreed with that inconvenient contracts. However the embassy is to be moved this year.

Unfortunately the US embassy in Milan doesn't exist. It's merely a consulate. The real US embassy would be in Rome.

It's quite possible. If memory serves, big planters were used to block off Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House starting about a month after Oklahoma City.

I have to say "if memory serves," because if you look at Street View now, they have a row of two- or three-foot tall posts across the street at both ends of the block. (And you can't get closer to the building, but I guess that's because the Street View car can't get in.)

US embassy in Ljubljana is a chocolate house from Hansel and Gretel. It's also right next to the Russian embassy.

Urban guerrilla these hours in central Rome. Large groups of Dutch football hooligans of Feyenoord started devastating the city. They broke a marble fountain in the Spanish Steps area, attacked policemen with bottles and other stuff and destroyed several parked cars and motos.

In real life, electronic toll collection was first introduced in Bergen, Norway in 1986, and well into the 21th century many countries still struggle to implement it.

You're right, sorry, I confused the two words (embassy and consulate)
Milan consulate will move to another location in the future. They'll take and restore the beautiful Art Nouveau former shooting polygon, in a more peripheric area.

I have no words for what they did in Rome... I hope the damage is repairable, and I hope the money will come from these hooligans' own pockets!!

People are primates. And sometimes primitives as well.

I wouldn't say that this building is Art Nouveau, rather Neo-Renaissance.

My grandma's found some old coins at home: 0.01 Dutch guilder (1 cent) from 1964 with the queen Juliana, 1 and 5 Spanish pesetas from 1957 with Francisco Franco, and 1 and 0.20 Hungarian forint (20 fillér) from 1965 from the Hungarian People's Republic.
