Have you reported this on the license plate thread?

Now that I think of it, it was 383 horsepower. Horsepower was the figure I used to know for every American car from, say, 1965 into the late 70s.

So, um, never mind?

I don't post in that section and American plates aren't exotic enough. A week ago I saw a truck from Georgia (the country).

Hmm. I can go years without seeing a European plate here (not counting the, say, German ones people keep under the real, valid plate to tell people they went to Bavaria to take delivery of the Beemer).

Average salary in EU - disposable income in particular. But the map is incorrect as it lacks legend. No it is not cold war map

So Bratislava's the wealthiest place in ex-Eastern Europe outside of (East) Germany?

(See, I do know a thing or two about European geography.)

If they take account of salaries of parliament members, then yes. :-)

Sort of surprised to see Denmark that low, on the level of Italy and Spain. Maybe because of their infamous high taxes?

It can't be true. Danish incomes on the level of Greece or Southern Italy, it must be wrong.

Well, if it's "disposable" income and taxes are that high compared to other countries...

For that matter, why's Austria at the other extreme?

It should be the amount of money you keep after paying all taxes. But the Denmark and Netherlands on Greek level is apparently incorrect.

Displacement 400 cubic inches (6554 ccm )

But still wickedly fast off the line since it made 185 hp at like 2000 RPM

Later my 1999 Saab was rated by factory at exactly 185 SAE net hp also. Displacement 1985 ccm

It is so much better now... the V8's of 6-7000 ccm are typically with power outputs 425 HP or larger and the fuel economy is not even that bad as long as the car is relatively small (not a truck)

383 Chrysler is absolutely the displacement in cubic inches. Power on them wasn't usually so great but it varied a lot on that type engine... you had like "grandma option" 2-barrel whatever for a Fury station wagon with something like 175 hp net (in our numbers today) but then a crazy option with a heavy cam and triple carbs or similar with double that or more in a Charger

these cars were actually sold new in the USA also. When the US implemented pollution laws in 1968, Fiat changed the engine to a bit smaller (50 cu in) so it no longer counted as a "car engine" but a un-regulated engine like for a lawn mower
These cars are very rare in the US as they rusted extremely bad, to the point where a class-action lawsuit forced Fiat to buy back the rusty cars from their owners (!)

Norway is included, but not Switzerland .

Here is a better map (GDP per capita):

Now that Swiss franc is no longer artificially sustained to euro, we got richer than Norway And First place in Europe again

I always think, GDP per capita is best indicator of how well people live... but look on the map just for example, PL vs RU and Iceland. No way!
