I think that's a main problem why social situation in the Baltics is far one of the worse in EU. Poland looks somewhat more happy place to me
AFAIK, Lithuania (after Hungary) is the second most depressive country in EU - expressed by number of suicides per capita.

That implies that depression = suicide, witch I believe is false. A suicide is not always the consequence of a depression, and there is maybe less suicides in western Europe because they are better to stop suicide attemps by rescuing them in time, or by giving an antidepressant treatment (but it's not because a treatment is given that this depression can be ignored)...

And for example Hungary is with Estonia the countries in Europe where there is the lowest consumption of antidepressant drugs : http://nsa38.casimages.com/img/2015/...2335320571.jpg (sorry it's in French).

This is why I personnaly don't believe that only on this suicides statistic we can say that a country is the "most depressive"...

But this is only how I see things, maybe I'm wrong, I don't know...

I don't know, but isn't depression the only reason to commit a suicide?

What he's saying is that you don't have to kill yourself when you are depressed. Depression therefor does not equal suicide.

I know guys, it is not vice-versa. Depression does not equal suicide, but suicide is often a final stage of psychiatric diseases or depressions.

It is not coincidence if there is considerably increased suicide rate in certain country.

Don't forget economical issues, they often lead to suicide. In Italy suicides increased after the crisis began. Some people argue that certain suicides related to bad economic problems (aggravated by a government who doesn't take care of poor citizens) are de facto state homicides.

A car accident led to that, but the area is known for heavy traffic during that time in the morning.

And I could imagine that the way people are driving their cars here might not help in these situations...

It's amazing what you can do with zoom.

The bridge has a staggering 6.1% incline. Nothing notable about that, some Autobahns go up to 7 or even 8%.

This is your typical media hype about nothing. It appeared everywhere. I remember it also surfaced a couple of years ago.

Pont de Normandie can look similar

as Chris said, such photos don't amaze me because it is only zoom-illusion
