We have stupid interchange names in the Netherlands anyway. They're usually named after a nearby location, which is often a village or even smaller. In my region, Interchange Hattemerbroek is named after the village of Hattemerbroek, but even worse, Interchange Lankhorst is named after a group of farms nearby. I like the German Autobahnkreuz names better.

Nah, we have the same problem actually. Do these names also sound somewhat stupid or awkward to you?

Well, I'm used to them. Some villages became really well known because of the traffic information, I don't think many people would have ever heard of places like Burgerveen, Everdingen, Muiderberg, Hoevelaken or Beekbergen otherwise.

Don't forget Roelofarendsveen. That's probably the best-known village because of the jams on the A4.

The A1×A2 interchange in SE Ljubljana is called Malence. I still have no idea what it's called after, cause I haven't discovered any village or part of Ljubljana called like that. Maybe keber can help.

No, one of the worst depressions I've ever felt. But looking at pictures of roads makes it all okay.

I'm kind of broke right now, so don't expect a lot of roadtrips from me in the next few months...

The whole moving thing costed me a couple of thousands euros, actually somewhat more than I expected, a lot of "hidden" costs that are like a couple of dozen euros at the time, but put that together, and it's a lot of money.

So I'm waiting if I get a profit share this year. It was quite a lot of money last year, but the economy has worsened, although I'm not really worried about my job that way. Also, I can't wait until I recieve my tax refund for 2008, it's also quite some money

So I'm not too worried about my ability to do a couple of roadtrips during the summer

I've only stood on ski's for a couple of hours, when I was in Norway with my school, three years ago. I did like it, but skiing is very expensive.
