The route I have in my signature is better. Terroba is a homophone of 'te roba', which means 'they steal you', and Bárcenas was in charge of the treasury of the Spanish People's Party (the first word is false) some years ago, known for running a parallel, illegal contability. So the route sounds like 'Bárcenas steals you'.

I think you could have found nice ski resorts also closer to your location. You not have to drive 1500 km to Poland to ski...

Skiing in Poland is cheap I guess plus the unique culture of Podhale(historico-etnografical region), as well maybe Vienna and Brno to visit. My colleague paid 250 euros to ski 3 days(it was one of the cheapest options) 5 years ago it was 55 euros. At least I guess the closest cheap option was [email protected]: maybe to Sochi, huh? 4200 km is just as close.. Wouldn't you mind sending us some picks of the road?

Pernis is an interesting place, in the sense casually walking on the streets of the village don't give away it is a tiny residential enclave within the massive Port of Rotterdam.

Yep, it's surrounded by industrial areas and infrastructure on all sides. There are two gigantic oil refineries immediately west of the village, including Europe's largest refinery, ExxonMobil at 190,000 bbl/day and Shell next door at 404,000 bbl/day. There is a container port to the east and shipbuilding to the north. In addition, there is the 10 lane A4 immediately west of the village and the 10 lane A15 south of it. It also has a subway station.

I'm not that much into skiing. I mean I can and I'm quite good, but I'm not interested anymore. I prefer harder work (snowshoeing, trekking, and the like).
If I remember I'll take some pictures, but then I'll have to explain to my boss what am I doing... He already thinks I'm a nutjob...

That means you can take pics because you have nothing to lose...

Governments should put some efforts to check if older people are still able to drive... (For example right now in France there is no such law...)

In Italy drivers older than 80 must pass a medical check every year. It's every 10 years before the age of 50 and every 5 years between 50 and 80.

In real life, electronic toll collection was first introduced in Bergen, Norway in 1986, and well into the 21th century many countries still struggle to implement it.

Act very difficult to establish in France.

Yes but it's obviously just a formality. No medical exam is actually performed.

Maybe Stara planina in Serbia?
It's quite close to Bulgaria and Sofia.
