I will try. Unfortunately the weather is not great, tomorrow should be a lot of rain South.
Sunday is not looking better.
Meanwhile the Palermo region should be all sunny. Maybe I will drive to Cefalu. Is there something else in the Palermo, Messina, Catania triangle? I have already been to Palermo.

Why should be just sit at home?

I'm planning a day trip to Northeastern Teruel province, home to several nice towns and one of the two roads numbered A-231 (the one I haven't been on yet) .

I find it hard to run out of new vacation destinations. There are so many possibilities that you would have to travel for many years non-stop to visit most of the world.

PS: greetings from the small-town-filled-with-casinos of Mesquite in Nevada, USA. Tomorrow is my last full day in USA after making a 2.400+ km tour in the american wild-west.

I should do a road-trip summary after I return back home, as the roads and the landscapes here are gorgeous... I will just have to find the time for it.

Until then, here are some road-related pictures that I shot during the last few days:

A bridge on CA-1 Pacific Highway:

Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco at sunset:

A store on the historic Route 66 (yes, the store was open for business):

Highway 163 leading towards Navajo Monument Valley:

I could also do an entire album just with pictures of incredibly straight roads in USA.

I don't have luck with weather. It didn't rain much but it's almost completely cloudy here, I think I saw the sun for 2 hours tops for 2 days. While in almost all of Italy besides the south you have sunshine...

I was in Rome this summer and it rained on two of the three days we were there...in July Granted, on both days the rain didn't last long but didn't really expect that from an Italian summer weather (i.e. I didn't take a waterproof jacket with me).

I was in Trieste in July and experienced the same. The wind was gross and during our journey we saw a blizzard It was 3 day after I replaced my winter tires with summer ones.

I was in north-western Italy last April. Sunshine and up to 27°C. No rain at all

Sicily is being affected by what they call a 'Medicane' (Mediterranean Hurricane). It's a cyclone with tropical characteristics (warm core).

I'm having problems with the Android app of the forum. Very often, when I open a thread, it gives me a blank page with "3 more messages to read" written. When I push reload several times it loads up the messages, but sometimes it doesn't at all. I changed my phone recently (asus ZenFone laser 2) but I don't know if it matters at all. Do any of you guys have similar problems?

I don't like the app, I just use the computer version.

I don't use the forum on a cell phone at all. I find it too cumbersome, I'm used to super fast response times and quick switching between screens and programs on a PC, doing it on a cell phone or even a tablet is a step down.

I'm now on a tablet and browsing the forums through Chrome. The only thing slowing me down is typing messages like this one.

It also happens to me, and I use an old phone. It has also been reported in the Spanish forums.

I think I can stand the ongoing crazy Christmas campaign in my local Kaufland store that started about a month ago. But today they played Christmas carols! What will be the next? Easter stuff in December?
