Looks very sweet, Nexis. I bet it isn't very healthy

Today I played my first baseball match in the world's ugliest city, Almere. It was quite cold in a short sleeve shirt. Especially because there was a strong wind and you're standing still most of the time. Furthermore, it was cloudy and 6 degrees However, we won

I always feel sorry for those baseball guys who just stand on the perimiter forever waiting for this one ball to come. Does it get more boring than that?

Today was a very exiting match, actually. Final score: 15-23. Not really a major league score, but it was still a good match

In summer I don't mind playing outfield, when it's warm and the sun is shining, but in autumn weather it's horrible. Luckily I never play outfield

i have new sport for free time (beside badminton which is my sanctity) - volleyball. at first training we sucked, but at second we were allready quite ok

and how it came - we got for free a gym for badminton, we just had to draw fields. when we went to look a gym, we found ball for volleyball and got fantastic idea. we have collected people for 2 teams fast and we play volley in that free gym, whil badminston stays in one where we used to play and earlier.

I'm training in basketball two years now and my skills are better now than in first training days. Also before basketball I was training in judo, football, volleyball and in swimming.

I'm rather enjoying this kind of sport (beside swimming and skiing):

(hopefully at least 20.000 height meters this year)

I like hiking in the mountains too, I'm not too afraid of heights, but really steep rockwalls are nothing for me, so I leave it by a nice hike into the mountains

Hiking?! I hate hiking lol. Never forget the times that I had to hike with my parents at least once every 4 days a week when celebrating holiday in the French Alps..

I'd love it

What I don't like about hiking is that some beautiful spots can also be reached by e.g train. Mount Snowdon in Wales for example. I climbed it four years ago and it's quite a steep ascent (especially when you're 13 years old), but the view from the top is amazing. However, there is also a train leading to the top bringing all lazy American tourists there to ruin the sight

Isn't this beautiful?

Wales, you say? I though that only plains are there.

Looks nice, wouldn't think, that a "thosander" would look so prominent.
My highest tour from last year was Hochschober in Austria 3240 m

Unluckily, because of strong winds and fog I had to turn around at around small peak left of main peak (at height about 3150 m). Better luck next time.

This year I have no major plans, there are many mountain targets untouched by me in Slovenia and are waiting to be added to my small stamp book.

Could you show the most impressive mountain places in Slovenia? Not only the Triglav area, but mroe the mountains north of Ljubliana, when I see them from the motorway they look like alone peaks seperated from each other which I quite like.

One Slovenian forumer posted hundreds of pictures of Slovenia, including a lot of mountain pictures in no particular order:
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=773600
(wait for pictures to load, it takes some time - it's worth)

And one my picture, I'm quite proud of:

Lone Triglav (2864 m) rising from the clouds, taken last September from Razor (2601 m) at 9 in the morning (-10°C, some small patches of snow were on top), first that day on the peak, and probably the only one that day with an unobscured view.

No, I don't have any pics of Wales, I didn't have a camera yet when I was there. Those pics are from Slovakia
