Andorran plates are the only continental-European plates I've never seen (not counting Kazakhstan). I was in the Vatican City in 1993, but I don't remember any cars (then again, I only visited the St. Peter's Square and the basilica).

Far-West-like situation in Bologna: some crooks, during night, block a street and ask 2€ each driver to be let through. They deserve to meet someone with a baseball bat or something else in his car, and not shy in using it.

That once happened to me in Ljubljana, although I don't know what they actually wanted since I just pushed pedal to the metal (with humps on the road). Since then I haven't driven in that neighborhood at night.

Some people complain the Dutch road authorities are too safety-conscious with broken down vehicles, claiming they close more lanes than needed causing unnecessary congestion.

Today on A28 a tanker truck broke down on the right lane. But they closed two lanes, funneling 3 lanes into 1 lane, causing an hour of delay.

Crazy weather in Spain: Chris suffered the heat wave we had the last two weeks, and in the next few days in the mountains it may even snow!

That's the same here. In Turin we went from a max temp of 36 °C to 21 °C in 24 hours.

Last week 35°C, this week 20°C. Yesterday I drove 100 km/h on the A2 motorway SE of Ljubljana in pouring rain and heavy wind, and I was the fastest one around.

Can you please send 5-6°C up to Denmark? 25-26°C would be just perfect.

I've just got mail from Photobucket.com that they removed support for 3rd party hosting on ordinary accounts. For account that allows that I should pay 400$ per year ...
My pictures on SSC are now mostly gone.

Mine too. Almost 10 years of work for the forum, and all of that is gone.

I will probably move my photos to dropbox, but relinking them in numerous posts will take too much time.

For more clever ones, this might work like a vaccine for authority stupidness.

i remember the time when i came to SSC (whole lotta years ago), only Imageshack was widespread service for photo hosting, but it was incredibly slow and poisoned with commercials. then appeared Photobucket which was revolution, simple, fast, very good. it lasted for several years, but in last 3-4 years Photobucket is rubbish. very slow, too many unneccessary options, and now this. i think it is time to close my account there.
