Of course. It makes no difference as 0, O, I and U are omitted.

Is it a skewed D? Maybe you want to ask the manufacturer...

And whether you read the VIN from all the places on the vehicle where it's (im)printed, from the registration certificate or from the vehicle card, it's the same everywhere?

That was the very first thing that had struck my mind. Indeed, all VINs were the same. No typo in vehicle registration certificate.

Do you have any indication of the manufacturing date (month / year) on the main data plate on the car? In US/Canada it's obligatory on any car for some decades...

e.g.

I've discovered there's a Fuqing county in China. Fortunately the pronounciation is not what you think , as the Q of Pinyin is pronounced something like "ts". For anyone interested the Chinese name of the Austrian village is 富金 (Fujin)

This tweet shows a truck crashing into a emergency vehicle on French A9 last month. This truck driver must've been seriously distracted or incapacitated to completely unnotice the emergency vehicle on the clear lane ahead of him.

This is also a major problem in Germany. Not a lot of footage exist from these brutal crashes.

That's because people in Austria and Germany are crazy about privacy. You are not allowed to have a dashcam in these countries, as you are violating other people's privacy...

And Google Street View is present in the most important cities only, with old photos. For same reason.

Street View will be captured in Austria this summer and to be released in late 2017.

I have seen an article about that, but for me is still unclear. Will they cover just a few major cities (like in Germany) or will they travel on all roads?

Google captures Germany (and Austria?) almost every year but it's always used for internal purposes only, e.g. updating Google Maps. GSV is usually NOT updated!

Edit: It seems that they really wanna publish the data for Austria this time.

The other day I took a fun drive on the mountain roads of La Rioja and came across this piece of art:

Why bother buying a new mailbox when you can recycle your old microwave?

+ it looks like a speed camera, so traffic calming included.

I'm currently in Pula (HR). The lowest morning temperature today was 27°C.

Last weekend I was in Romania. During the day was over 40°C, and during the night it was so hot I could barely sleep as the walls of the building have heated up so much during the day that they were still "reflecting" the heat inside also during the night.

Ah, and I was at a wedding. Some of the ladies there had their shoes broken as the asphalt temperature outside was too high (there were 3-4 cases that the glue used for the shoes bottom failed).

The results of the thunderstorm in Łódź today in the morning: http://www.expressilustrowany.pl/lod...2051,24979871/

Some big trees got drawn from the ground with roots. So strong was the wind.

The trains traffic is still blocked in two places in the city, as well as many tram lines (with practically non-existent bustitution, as there was so many of them).
