Thanks
First I'm going on holiday. Next week I'm going to London, and in july I'm going to Slovenia. After the summer I'm going to study mechanical engineering in Enschede

Guys, on Saturday I need to drive from Pula (HR) to Donovaly (SK). Anyone could help recommend a better way? The one through Wien is a bit longer (+60 km) and I will need to buy Slovakian vignette, but this one is prefered by google. What do you think?

I don't mind the Austrian and Slovenian vignettes as I have both already.

How much is a HR highway from Pula to Hungary? How about Hungarian highways fees?

HR motorways from Pula to Goričan would cost you 28+60+36=124 kn (17€),
so if you have A and SLO vignette, that route is better. the only problem could be more possible crowd at HR-SLO border than at HR-H border

If you'll decide to run through Hungary and without Slovakian vignette beware of thetiny 10km stretch of expressway between Zvolen and B.Bystrica. I've driven there in 2005 and I've got myself in the tolled stretch (without vignette) without even realising it. Luckily the cops weren't working hard that day

So based on those EUR 17 I'll go through Zagreb as in Croatia the LPG is very very cheap.. and I'll be able to take some shots of the way that I have never used before

That 10 km stretch of R1 may be avoided using road I/69 instead. From Zvolen drive through Sliač. It's pretty much useless to buy vignette for 10 kilometres (altough it costs only € 4,90) unless you drive a truck.

If you will decide to drive via Bratislava be aware there are extensive reconstruction works on almost whole Bratislava - Trnava section. It's quite annoying to drive there, but on Saturday traffic will be calm.

For this part between Pula and Rijeka, I would recommend taking the B8 directly via tunnel Učka (those 28 kn), not the road over Labin as the map shows. But if you have time (like an hour more), go through Labin but then follow D66 - the coastal road to Rijeka (the yellow road on the map you shown) - you'll save 28 kn (3.84€) and the road is very scenic and beautiful. Then, after Opatija, you join the A7 and then A6 to Zagreb (clearly marked, you can't miss).

I will go through Učka... no time to waste... I must leave my homecity on Friday night, get to Croatia, then to Slovakia and back home before Sunday morning

I think you can easily use Windows SkyDrice for storing photos and then just copying their links 25 GB of space
